Faith Park is set within the dramatic landscape that holds Tirana close. A place like no other, it has an almost gravitational pull bathed in the extraordinary golden and pink evening light that falls on the hills.
To connect nature with the spiritual, we build on an idea that has resonance in all the Abrahamic religions – that of the sacred mountain. The pathways lead visitors upward through a sequence of distinct landscapes, from cultivated terraces by the river, into a walled arrival garden, and through a botanical arboretum where a constellation of spiritual gardens unfolds. As the path ascends, the gardens gradually give way to wilderness, culminating in the spiritual plane at the summit. In this way the park can be seen as a spiritual journey to a moment of transcendence in the sky. A place that holds all religions where we can feel by ourselves and together at the same time.
We imagine Faith Park as an expression of harmony between religions, people, nature and everyday life. It gives form to Albania’s long-standing values of tolerance and coexistence, creating a place that brings people together under one sky. It becomes both a gift to the city and a visible statement of shared human values.
