Competition: One of six teams selected to design a new bridge across the River Avon
May 13 2015AL_A with afaconsult have been shortlisted in the competition to design the first new crossing of the River Avon in the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bath for over 100 years.
Bath Quays Bridge will allow the fully connected development of a previously overlooked quayside district, Bath Quays, linking it to the city centre and opening up new riverside leisure and cultural opportunities alongside new commercial activities.
Our team will develop and submit their bridge designs during the summer for evaluation by the jury, with the winning design to be announced in the autumn, following a public exhibition of the entries.
