Architektur Centrum conference 'Architecture - A Reclamation for the City' taking place in Hamburg
November 20 2018On Friday 23 November, director Max Arrocet will be in Hamburg to speak at the International ArchitectureForum 2018.
The forum, ‘Architecture – A Reclamation for the City’, will explore international examples of architecture and urban development with a focus on cities and their social context. The conference showcases state-of-the-art projects and discusses what possibilities for the development of human society they open up.
Max’s lecture, ‘Beyond the Building: Architecture as Urban Project’ will present the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter and the MAAT, discussing how these cultural projects were approached as urban projects through an architectural lens.
Other speakers include Shigeru Ban, Winy Maas, Alberto Veiga, Max Dudler, and Sheila O’Donnell and John Tuomey.
The event runs across three days from 22 – 24 November during GET Nord, hosted by the Architektur Centrum and held at the Hamburg Messe.
