Amanda returns to Chatsworth for Art Out Loud

Festival, taking place in September, enters its fourth year

August 29 2018

Now in its fourth year, Art Out Loud returns to Chatsworth House in the Peak District from 21–23 September 2018. On Saturday 22 September at 14.30, Amanda will present her talk, History and Modernity: a tale of two museums.

This talk will look at the dialogue between history and modernity at the V&A in London and the Museum of Art, Architecture & Technology (MAAT) in Lisbon. Amanda will explore how architects respond to the resistance of history and how innovation and respect for history can coexist and capture the public imagination.

A diverse and exciting programme of speakers including Lubaina Himid, Alice Rawsthorn and Tim Knox among others will present throughout the weekend alongside Amanda.

A full programme and tickets for each event can be found on the Chatsworth House website, here.
