2017 Rising Stars cohort announced
October 27 2017Following a shortlist of 16, AL_A’s associate Matt Wilkinson has been selected for the final RIBAJ Rising Stars 2017 cohort.
RIBAJ Rising Stars award architects who are making a difference in architecture and the built environment, pulling together teams, pioneering the use of new technology, leading change and delivering great buildings.
The judges praised Matt for his work at the V&A so early in his career, with David Miller noting the difficulties overcome during the project and Mark Skelly believing that Matt is most likely to be at the top of the next generation. RIBAJ said, Matt ‘ensured that the design was realised without compromise and to exacting standards, as well as pushing it beyond expectations.’
