AL_A design exhibition at the Hayward Gallery

AL_A’s design for the ‘Move: Choreographing You’ exhibition of Art and Dance is opening at the Hayward Gallery in October.  Inspired by Etienne Jules Maray’s motion studies of the human body, a sequence of folded planes create walls throughout the space. The translucent paper-like fabric structures, a counterpoint to the brutality of the building, rise and fall as they choreograph the movement of the visitor through areas of sculpture, film, archive and performance.
