Norman Foster Foundation holds first Digital X Workshop with Amanda as visiting professorJanuary 10 2018
The first Norman Foster Foundation Digital X Workshop will explore the kinship of architecture and the digital world. In a week-long event hosted in the Madrid headquarters of the Foundation, questions concerning how architecture and the digital world play together and how they will change the world will be discussed.
On 16 January, a dialogue between Norman Foster and Amanda will be moderated by Jonathan Glancey, debating the role of the digital in architecture and design.
On 17 January Amanda, with Max, will be running a seminar, ‘Algorithms and Architecture’, to explore why artificial intelligence can never replace architects and how human emotions, instinct and narrative remain so vital in the creation of exceptional buildings.
